All aboard: Staff and partners at Canotec are pictured toasting a year of expansion with a party onboard HMS Warrior, Britain’s first iron-hulled armoured warship, in Portsmouth. The digital copiers dealership recently set up Canotec London and, located between Bath and Bristol, Canotec South West. Canotec’s managing director, Steve Weir, said: “It has been a great 12 months, with strong sales figures, two new ventures and growing demand from companies attracted to our measurable business efficiency and bottom-line cost improvements. “To cap off, we’ve become the fastest growing reseller partner of digital copiers manufacturer Canon (UK).” Canotec’s customers include some of the best-known business names in the South. They include countermeasures specialist Chemring Plc, filtration giant Fairey Microfiltrex, Datacard, a world leader in secure ID and card personalisation solution, the Royal Yachting Association, surf leisure wear icon Animal, retirement properties builder McCarthy & Stone, and UK property management group Peverel. Figures from Canotec show that 100 office-based staff will use 112 trees every year in paper, based on 8,333 sheets sourced from one tree. Paper usage is reportedly increasing some 20 per cent a year, mainly due to compliance, data protection and audit trial requirements. |
