Canotec sets up team to target legal paper chase

Every month a typical office worker gets through 1,584 sheets of A4 paper, according to government-backed Envirowise.

In the legal sector it’s even higher, with the average member of staff producing between 1,800 and 2,000 pieces of paper.

With a tree generating about 80,000 sheets of paper, that means a small law firm employing 40 people uses up the equivalent of a 60ft pine tree every month.

Now Canotec, which specialises in creating ‘less-paper’ offices and working environments, has set up a four-strong squad to specifically target law firms across the south coast and the rest of the country.
