Roadshows reaps rewards for customers
We provided this floorshow with a difference at one of the South Coast’s leading landmarks – the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth. Canotec, which supplies and supports more than 1,200 companies and organisations, unveiled new-generation multifunctional devices from manufacturer Canon, entitled the imageRunner Advance range. Twenty VIP companies attended, with Canotec’s team showing first-hand how the devices enhance office productivity. Five further roadshows took place in Ringwood, London and Bristol. Canotec director David Newman said: “This is the biggest thing from Canon in multifunctional devices since it introduced colour. The devices, with a new low carbon footprint, are groundbreaking because they can be personalised and highly intuitive – the digital copiers’ version of i-Tunes. “One IT manager came away from the event having identified £12,000 worth of savings – a great return on 90 minutes of his time.” David is pictured here, centre front (maroon tie), on the Spinnaker Tower’s ‘vertigo’ glass walkway, 100 metres above sea level. Clockwise from his left are Andy Thomas of Canon, Ian Smith of Canotec and Nikki Richardson of Canon.
